BOYS! BOYS! BOYS!

BOYS! BOYS! BOYS!  Where did all of these boys come from???!  Trip, Nolan, Matty, JB, Brock, and Jackson... each precious in their own way!  I'm so glad I met all of you and can't wait to photograph you again!!

audrey

Audrey is turning three!  Her mom wanted to get some three year old photographs and use one of them for a birthday invitation.  We got so many great ones... I don't know how in the world she is going to decide.  Thanks Mariana for bringing Audrey over... she is gorgeous!

Oh Blakey!

Oh Blakey!!!  I love him so much! I think he is the cutest thing ever... but I'm his aunt so I guess I'm biased.  :)  Here is what I learned today... a one year old is a little young for the lolli-pops... he had candy drool everywhere... so I tried to take of his shirt so we wouldn't ruin it... and you can see what happened... scroll down! Yep!  Never take candy from a baby... he was so upset... poor guy.

now open for seniors!!

I had no idea how much fun seniors could be....
For a while I really just wanted to photograph babies and children... however... after my first senior session... I LOVED it!  I loved it for many different reasons... they listen, they cooperate, they don't cry, they don't run away from the camera, I don't have to chase them, and they are potty trained! :)
I will forever love photographing little ones... but I do have to say... I have a new interest in photographing seniors that I never knew I had.  Thanks Abbey!  Please spread the word... I'm now open for seniors!

caroline

I had such a hard time picking my favorites because she is so gorgeous.
I love Caroline!!! Scroll down and check out that belly!!  Doesn't that just make your day!  It made mine.  Thank you Kelly for being so sweet and letting me photograph your little angel. :)

thank you husband

Thank you husband for mowing the grass EVERY time I have a photo session. Just one of the reasons I love you so much. I couldn't do it without you! And the philodendrons look oh so lovely! (yes I had to look that word up... i thought it was filadendrum .. :) )

sweet evie

Oh sweet Evie (long E of course)... I don't think I could have had a better day! I woke up this morning around 7... some may ask "why are you up so early.. isn't it your summer vacation?" Well, yes it is. I'm not sure if it's because I just turned 30 and old age is setting in, my nerves about today's photo session or that my husband has started a new work out and study at 5 in the morning program!! Seriously!!! WE DON'T HAVE KIDS... there will be plenty of time to get up at 5 in the morning and run around exhausted! Regardless... I was up at 7, drinking coffee and waiting for sweet Evie.

I love photographs! I just do... it may not be your thing... my sister loves little pups.. that's her thing... but this is mine and I just love it!!! I learned a few things today... first thing...never save the best for last... well... that is when it comes down to a photo session. Evie's mom and I learned that today. We saved her sweet green dress for last... scroll down... YUP... you can see how that turned out... but when it came time to pick my favorites... I just couldn't leave that one out...talk about expressin' herself! :) I also learned that you must leave the diaper off for a few minutes longer than I apparently did or you end up with ring around the booty pictures! Yep ring around the booty... it's no good... but still so precious!

Thank you Evie for being so beautiful and a big thank you to her parents for letting me be creative and try new things!

how sweet.

dominic

I can hardly take credit for such a successful session. I must say without Schanen it wouldn't have been possible. Let me just say.. a one year old is very busy .... and I think Schanen is super mom. Seriously! She put wax in his hair, fixed his shirt, wiped the nose, wiped the drool, chased him down, got him to sit and smile, then changed outfits and did it all over again! I know she left exhausted!! About Dominic... he has the most gorgeous eyes... and the sweetest smile...I think he should be in a gap or pottery barn baby magazine...

I love the curls!

Allie couldn't have been any sweeter today. She was so cooperative and it made for such a great time. We spent the day playing with stuffed animals, bubbles and sitting nicely for the camera (for gummy worms of course!) Most of the smiles came from dangling candy over my head...it didn't bother me at all... I'm all about bribes for a precious smile! Thank you Lisa for picking out the most adorable outfits and knowing your baby well enough to get her to smile. AND the curls... MY GOODNESS... I LOVE THEM!!! She is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed ever minute of it. I hope I get the chance to photograph her again. Here are my favorites... more to come soon!

WHAT FUN!

I had the best time photographing and playing with Jaxson today! He has about 100 different facial expressions and I think I almost got them all. :) He is full of smiles, energy and sugar (sorry Lauren)! Here are my favorites...

hmmm what's this?

this is so good! I can't believe my mom is letting me do this!!

what a good day... I could do this all day long!

please don't take it away from me..

I am too cute!

los cabos

We had such a sweet time in Cabo. We really enjoyed the sunshine, the food and just spending time with each other. Kelly loved the buffet... sea food and mexican food... he couldn't have been happier. Honestly... I ate french fries and watermelon most of the time... but they were delicious fries! Here are a few of my favorite pictures and a link to my album. Enjoy!

never wake a sleeping baby

The photo shoot with baby James started off a little rocky. Becky and I both learned that you should never wake a sleeping baby for a photo shoot. We should have known that... seriously! However, after he got a full tummy we got some really wonderful photos. Here are my favorites...
